Dr George Jiang started his career as a general dentist in 2015 and then practised alongside his father in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. After working for several years, he found fulfilment in looking after people and restoring their smiles and function, with an emphasis on the artistic and craftsmanship side of dentistry. This sparked a further interest in advancing his career into the field of prosthodontics.
In 2025, he completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics at the University of Queensland. During his three years of postgraduate training, he was exposed to both tooth- and implant-supported fixed and removable prosthetics. George is passionate about working with dentists and patients to deliver beautiful, functional dental prosthetics that last.
As a prosthodontist, George is involved in teaching the next generation of dentists as a clinical and preclinical supervisor in both undergraduate BDSc and postgraduate DMD courses.
Outside of work, he enjoys photography and Muay Thai training.
